Marcus Pules, eyewitness to Mothman before the Fukushima disaster
Anyone who has managed to get a close look at Mothman has suffered from extreme fear and psychological distress which have lasted for years afterwards in some instances.
Although his name may insinuate that he is similar to a moth, his name was given to him by the newspapers and is, in fact, nothing like a moth.
He has been reported to be roughly 7 feet tall and with a wingspan of roughly 10 feet or more. Some reports have even described him as not having a head at all with just two red eyes in his chest instead.
Mothman is described as a winged humanoid with colouration varying from black, grey, and brown.
Many believe that Mothman warns people of impending disasters.
One of the earliest disasters happened in the year 1967 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, where he was seen for months before the Silver Bridge collapsed killing over 40 people.
Another disaster where he was seen moments before was at a mine in Freiburg, Germany, where he scared the miners away shortly before it collapsed.
A more recent disaster that the Mothman was said to warn people about was the 2011 nuclear disaster of Fukushima.
People who have witnessed Mothman have stated that shortly after they have been harassed by Men In Black who wanted them to not speak about what they saw.
