Eyewitnesses have described the creature as having dark fur with glowing red eyes.
The first and the most common time of the Skunk Ape sightings were around the 1960s and 1970s. However, just like Bigfoot sightings many claims and sightings of the Skunk Ape can be mistaken for a black bear standing on its hind legs.
Found in the South Eastern parts of the United States, the Skunk Ape is a bipedal humanoid similar to Bigfoot.
One thing that sets it apart from Bigfoot is its disgusting odour which has been theorized to be caused by methane released by the swamps the creature lives in.
