Shadow people have been reported all over the world since the beginning of recorded history.

They hide just out of view and are usually seen at the corners of people’s eyes and vanish when a person spots them. A feeling of fear overcomes a person when they spot a shadow person and some people have reported being attacked by them.
Their appearance ranges from a solid black figure to a fog-like silhouette; some even have coloured eyes which are a good indication of how they will behave. For example, if they have white eyes they are much faster and can stay more still.

Shadow people have been documented to emit sounds such as screechy static or loud wind.
